The Premier League weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon when the final three matches takes place on a day where we see one of the iconic fixtures on show and a few other teams who will be pushing for Europe this season playing too.
Two of the three matches will be shown live on the Sky Sports Super Sunday show and that programme will probably have updates on the other game so there is no need to miss any of the action over the course of the day.
Sunday’s fixtures are as follows: (2pm unless stated; UK TV in brackets)
Brentford vs Leicester City
West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur (Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
Manchester United vs Liverpool (Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)

The early action comes from the capital and the match on the TV sees two rivals taking each other on in a London derby when West Ham United look to build on their fine win in Europe in midweek when they host a Tottenham Hotspur who lost in Europe but never played any of their star players. At the same time as that one, Brentford will look to showcase their talents once again when they go up against a Leicester City side for whom the penny looks to have dropped after a sloppy beginning to the season.
The big match of the weekend is the last one to get going though. That comes from Old Trafford where the two biggest clubs in the country collide when Manchester United play host to Liverpool in a match which might have come along at a bad time for the home side but they will be determined not to lose. Liverpool look in fine fettle at the minute and will fancy their chances of a rare win on enemy soil.
Betting
All the attention will be on the big game at Old Trafford but my betting focus comes from London and the game which isn’t on the TV. That sees Brentford taking on Leicester City in what should be an entertaining match and one which I think there will be some goals in. These two met on this ground in the FA Cup last season with Leicester winning a very watchable contest and I suspect we might get a repeat of that here.
I’m not going to back Leicester to win though. The better bet is for there to be over 2.5 goals. Brentford have been relentless in taking the game to their opposition this season and I don’t see that changing here but Leicester have found their mojo going forward and should be a threat for anyone now. The Foxes haven’t quite found their feet defensively though so there is going to be opportunities for Brentford to find the net. That makes me think we will get more than 2.5 goals here.
