There are two remaining matches in the latest round in the Premier League and they both come along on Sunday afternoon when two teams who are looking for Champions League football next season take on two teams from the lower half.
It feels like it could be a key afternoon in that race for the Champions League next term but the two visiting sides will be looking to improve their league position so they are not going to turn up and roll over for anyone.
Manchester United vs Leicester City (14.00 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
The opening match of the afternoon comes from Old Trafford where Manchester United will look to move within five points of the leaders Arsenal at the top of the table when they host a Leicester City side who go in search of a third straight win.
This has been a really busy period for Manchester United and you wonder if and when these matches will catch up with them. If it is here then Leicester will really fancy their chances of getting that third win in succession. The Foxes haven’t just won their last two matches, they have scored four goals in both of them and goals is something I expect to see here. We’ve seen in the last couple of weeks that this Leicester attack has come to the party and with no Casemiro breaking up play for the home side you would imagine Leicester will get some joy going forward. Whether United are jaded or not, I refuse to believe that Leicester will keep a clean sheet against the wealth of attacking options that United have at their disposal. I’m a little surprised the Asian goal line for this one is just three goals in a fixture which has a history of goals and two sides who attack better than they defend. I like the over here.

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United (16.30 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
The second part of the double header on Sunday sees Tottenham Hotspur going up against their rivals West Ham United in a fixture where there is never any love lost on or off the pitch and which should be feisty once again.
It is clear that these two clubs don’t like each other so this one will almost certainly be competitive, not least because Spurs will be looking to bounce back from a humbling loss to Leicester last week and a Champions League defeat in Milan in midweek. West Ham have had a week off to prepare for this match which was probably needed after their controversial draw with Chelsea last Saturday. Matches between these two teams have been pretty crazy in recent times but the absence of Antonio Conte in the home dugout feels like it might be a factor here and I don’t feel certain or what sort of impact it will have. I wouldn’t really want to trust Spurs anyway. My gut feeling is that West Ham are a little big to get a result in this one but there isn’t a lot of logic or statistical evidence to support that so I’ll leave this one alone.
