We have a midweek round of action in the Premier League and it gets underway in fairly quiet fashion with just the two matches on Tuesday evening on a night where a couple of teams at the bottom of the table will be looking to climb away from immediate trouble.
Both the matches will be able to be viewed however you will need to subscribe to the Amazon Prime Video service to be able to do so. You’ll also need two devices to watch them both because they clash at certain points.
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Nottingham Forest (19.30)
The opening match of the midweek round to kick off does so at the Amex Stadium where Brighton and Hove Albion welcome rock bottom Nottingham Forest to the seaside for what feels like a key game for both teams.
Brighton got the Roberto De Zerbi tenure off to a good start with a draw at Liverpool but they have followed that up with a pair of losses which have come without scoring and immediately they could do with a result just to reassure everyone that they are not going to fall away now that Graham Potter has left. Forest have only won one match all season and that needs to change pretty soon if they are going to avoid the drop and further repercussions coming such as manager changes and things like that. Forest should have picked up a draw at Wolves at the weekend to go with the point they got against Aston Villa but a missed penalty was costly. These two have plenty of questions over them right now and I don’t like to get involved in matches where that is the case.

Crystal Palace vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (20.15)
The second match of the evening comes from Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace seek to continue a decent run of results when they host a Wolverhampton Wanderers side for whom it is hard not to be concerned about.
Palace sit in the bottom half of the table but I think their displays have been better than their results. They have lost three of their opening nine matches but they have been against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea who could easily be the top three this season and they were done up by the officials against the latter. In the main though they have played well this term and always tend to play well at Selhurst Park. Wolves have two wins this term, both unconvincing 1-0 home wins against Southampton and then Nottingham Forest at the weekend, although had Forest converted a penalty they wouldn’t have won that. Goals are a massive issue for Wolves. They have only scored four of them in nine matches and only registered a single goal on their travels this term. It is hard to see that suddenly changing against a competent Crystal Palace side. Palace certainly have goals in them and given that one might be enough but two surely will I think they are the bet here, although I’ll take some draw cover given that seven of the 19 games these two have played this season have finished level.
