The last day of action in the Premier League before another international break takes place on Sunday afternoon when half of the division are back on show looking for another three points on a big day of football.
Much like most Sundays we have two TV games to enjoy for those of us who are based in the UK and with the three matches away from the spotlight involving some big teams we should get regular updates on those too.
Sunday’s fixtures are as follows: (2pm unless stated; UK TV in brackets)
Aston Villa v Fulham
Brighton & Hove Albion v Sheffield United
Liverpool v Brentford
West Ham United v Nottingham Forest (Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
Chelsea v Manchester City (4.30pm – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)

The TV cameras are based firmly in the capital on Sunday afternoon and we begin at the London Stadium where West Ham United will be looking to get their league form back on track when they welcome a usually poor travelling Nottingham Forest side to the big smoke. When they are done the big match of the weekend will take place as Manchester City look to extend their lead at the top of the table when they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on an inconsistent Chelsea team.
Three matches take place away from the TV cameras in the UK and they all involve teams expected to finish in the top six this season at home to lesser rated sides. Liverpool will be chasing much more than a top six spot and they play host to Brentford while Aston Villa look to extend their incredible winning run in the Premier League at Villa Park when they take on Fulham. The other match sees Brighton and Hove Albion going up against bottom of the table Sheffield United.
Betting
While all good things come to an end eventually, I’m very surprised to see Aston Villa chalked up with an Asian line of just -1 in a home game at the minute given their excellent record at Villa Park under Unai Emery. They have won their last 12 matches in the league at home and in truth there haven’t been many sides who have run them close in that time and I’m not convinced Fulham are the team to change that pattern.
The big thing for Villa in this run is the amount of goals they score. In their five league matches at Villa Park this season they have scored 20 goals and against a Fulham side who you look at and wonder just where their goals are going to come from, that could be a bad combination for the Londoners. Fulham won their opening away game of the season at Everton but they got outplayed in that and haven’t won on their travels since then. Any Villa win gets us our money back here and a two goal or more win sees us collecting in full. I expect the latter to occur.
