Leyton Orient v Crewe
Mansfield v Stevenage
Morecambe v Exeter
Notts County v Luton
Plymouth v Colchester
Yeovil v Grimsby
Big Matches
The leaders Plymouth are back at home on Saturday when they host Plymouth at Home Park while second placed Carlisle entertain Crawley up at Brunton Park. The top three are all at home on Saturday with Doncaster playing host to Wycombe at the Keepmoat.
There is an eye catching match at Meadow Lane where Luton are taking over 1800 fans for their clash with Notts County while Portsmouth will look to get back to winning ways when they head to Cambridge.
Best of the Rest
Accrington will look to continue their resurgence when they host bottom of the table Newport at the Wham Stadium while the form side in the division Yeovil welcome manager less Grimsby to Huish Park.
Strugglers Stevenage and Exeter both face tricky away matches as they look to pull away from the drop zone. Stevenage head up to Mansfield while Exeter face a very long trip to a Morecambe side who are better on their travels than at home.
Betting
I’m keeping things simple this week. I was tempted by Yeovil at home to Grimsby but the manager issue with the Mariners has put me off that while I’m not quite brave enough to take my own side Luton even though Notts County’s home record is ordinary.
I’m very much with the obvious bet this week which is on the leaders Plymouth to see off a struggling Colchester side. I highlighted Colchester’s problems last week and they could only draw with Morecambe. Away from home their issues are even more in focus with just one away win all season and that coming at Wycombe at a time when the Chairboys were ravaged by injuries.
It took Plymouth a couple of games to gel this season but they are unbeaten at home since the opening day of the campaign and are beginning to look like the dominant side in the division. I don’t think they’ll need to do anything too special to see off Colchester but they have it in them if they need it.
