There are two more matches in the Super League on Saturday afternoon and with the Catalans Dragons at home we have one on the television which should add to the appeal of the games.
Catalans host Leeds in a match which at the beginning of the season would have looked very important while in the other match away from the spotlight Leigh host Wakefield. We’ll begin with the TV game.

Catalans Dragons vs Leeds Rhinos
This is a pretty big match in its own right as fourth placed Leeds head to France to take on the Catalans Dragons needing a win to keep pace with those at the top. The Catalans are just about in the top eight heading into the match and a win will give them some breathing space.
Leeds haven’t been helped with the absences of Ryan Hall and Kallum Watkins who are both away with England but the Catalans have a couple of significant losses of their own in Krisnan Inu who is injured and Luke Walsh who is suspended.
Leeds actually have a decent enough record in France but last week’s loss to the Huddersfield Giants is a big concern. I think Catalans have enough playmakers in their side even in Walsh’s absence and I can see them picking up a much needed win here.
Leigh Centurions vs Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
After a good start to the season the Leigh Centurions head into this one off the back of a lengthy losing streak which they will be out to end in this match. Wakefield have got off to a much better start in the campaign but their record on the road will concern them.
This looks like a match that is best avoided to me. Leigh are in no form at all and I certainly can’t back them but I’m not that keen on Wakefield either given that Tom Johnstone is now out for the rest of the season. I need to see how they go without him before getting involved on them so I’ll sit this one out.
