There is another night of Super League action on Friday night as the season begins to hit the home straight ahead of the play-offs. After Castleford walloped Huddersfield on Thursday evening it is the turn of the other six sides in the Super 8s to play as well as two in the qualifiers on what is a busy night of action.
The TV match on Friday evening comes from the Super 8s as Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves collide for the fifth time this season but there are the many other ways of keeping up with the other matches.
Friday’s fixtures are as follows:
St Helens vs Hull FC
Wakefield Trinity vs Catalans Dragons
Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves
Leeds Rhinos vs Salford Red Devils
Preview
The match between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves could very well be a semi-final in a few weeks so bragging rights could be at stake there. St Helens can officially wrap up the League Leader’s Shield on Friday night if they can avoid defeat at home to Hull FC while Wakefield Trinity look to have a good chance of a home win when they entertain the Challenge Cup winners Catalans Dragons. In the qualifiers the top two in the table meet when Leeds Rhinos host the Salford Red Devils.

Betting
The trials and tribulations of Hull FC have been well documented this season and there is no need to go into them again but St Helens are just the side to take advantage of them. The League Leader’s Shield will be won with a win here and you would think Saints will want to land the silverware in style.
Hull FC have Jake Connor back for the first time in a while but they have a whole host of key players missing. In fairness, St Helens will be without James Roby but they have more than enough in their back line to overpower Hull FC like many who have gone before them have.
Tips
WON – Back St Helens (-22) to beat Hull FC for a 4/10 stake at 1.91 with William Hill
