UEFA Nations League 2024-25 – Friday 11th October Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The UEFA Nations League campaign continues across the continent on Friday night when another eight matches take place as the third set of fixtures in the group stage are played out in more groups as we head to the halfway stage of the group phase.

Friday is a night which will be headlined by the likes of Germany and the Netherlands as they look to move closer to the final stages of the competition. Wales will be representing the Home Nations on a competitive looking evening.

League A

There is only one group on show in the top flight on Friday evening and it is Group 3 which is the one on show. Germany will be looking to maintain the pace at the top of the table when they make the trip to take on a Bosnia and Herzegovina side who will be looking for their first win of the season. The same situation happens in the other match where the Netherlands will be looking to keep pace with the Germans or take advantage of any slip ups when they go on their travels to take on a Hungary side who themselves are looking for a first victory of the campaign.

League B

We have two groups on show in the second level of the competition with the first of those being Group 1 where Georgia are leading the way after the first international break. They will be looking to maintain their 100% start to the group when they go away to face Ukraine in Poland. The other match sees the Czech Republic welcoming Albania to Prague with both looking to close in on the Georgians if possible. The most competitive looking group is Group 4 where the leaders Turkey have a home match against the winless Montenegro to overcome. Wales got off the mark against Montenegro last time out and they’ll look for a second win when they go to Iceland.

League C

There is just the one group competing on Friday night in the third tier and it is Group 1 where the two strongest sides in the competition have already come to the fore and face each other in the second of the matches to kick off. That sees Slovakia hosting a Sweden side who look much more on it than in recent times. The other match is the first game of the night to kick off and it sees two sides looking for their first points in the battle to avoid the drop when Estonia welcome Azerbaijan to Tallinn.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that I like over the course of the night here with sides who I did fancy taking having key injuries which puts me off getting involved in them. The one bet that I do like though at the prices is for Turkey to beat Montenegro but for both teams to score. Turkey are one of the more improved sides in Europe in recent times and their matches are absolutely fantastic to watch but part of the reason for that is because they struggle defensively.

Already in this campaign this bet has landed against a limited Iceland side and when you consider that Montenegro opened up a tougher Wales defence, albeit in ridiculously wet conditions, with the likes of Stevan Jovetic very much still a feature for them, there is nothing to suggest that they won’t find the net against this Turkey outfit. Wales could have had a hatful against Montenegro in that match and Iceland scored twice against them so you’ve got to think this vibrant Turkey attack will get a couple of goals at least and that should ensure they win with Montenegro getting on the scoresheet at the other end to land the punt.

Back Turkey to beat Montenegro and both teams to score for a 3/10 stake at 2.88 with Boylesports
