After a match on Friday night we were due to have 11 fixtures in League 2 on Saturday afternoon but one of them has fallen foul of the weather which leaves us with 10 matches to get stuck into on another busy day in the bottom tier.
As ever a number of sides will be eager for three points for different reasons so another competitive day in this division awaits us.
Saturday’s matches are as follows:
Barnet v Notts County
Carlisle United v Colchester United
Cheltenham Town v Port Vale
Coventry City v Accrington Stanley
Crawley Town v Grimsby Town
Crewe Alexandra v Yeovil Town
Exeter City v Wycombe Wanderers
Newport County v Forest Green Rovers
Stevenage v Luton Town
Swindon Town v Mansfield Town
Big Matches
There are some huge games in this division on Saturday afternoon with one of them coming from St James’ Park where Exeter City host second placed Wycombe Wanderers. Two sides looking to force their way into the promotion reckoning meet at the County Ground where Swindon host Mansfield. The leaders Luton have a short trip to Stevenage.
Best of the Rest
Two more sides who are aiming for promotion this season meet at the Ricoh Arena when Coventry play host to Accrington while Newport return to League 2 action when they host Forest Green Rovers. Notts County in fourth face a trip to Barnet. One of the form sides in the division Crawley Town, welcome Grimsby Town to Sussex.

Betting
I like two bets in this division on Saturday too. The first of them comes with Crawley Town who host a Grimsby side who are without a win in their last 11 matches. Crawley are going really well at the minute with six wins from their last seven and they are beginning to reel in the play-off pack. Crawley have only lost one of their last eight matches at home and with the form they are on I expect them to pick up the victory here.
Newport County put in a decent shift at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday evening and you have to think there will be something of a comedown from the Welsh side when they play host to Forest Green on Saturday. Forest Green have made a number of signings over the course of January and have won two of their last four as a result of that. Given the tired legs the Newport players are likely to have I’ll take the visitors to avoid defeat in this one.
