There is one round left in the Open de France as the European Tour gets set to crown the second winner on the Rolex Series but before the champion is crowned we are set for a wonderful finale to one of the best events on the Tour. The golf course has been the winner so far and that is unlikely to change during Sunday’s final round.

Saturday Recap
Eight under led going into Saturday and it was still the leading score coming out of it. Two men share the lead heading into the final round with Alexander Bjork and Peter Uihlein in the box seat. There is a very strong trio of players one shot back though in Thomas Pieters, Tommy Fleetwood and Andy Sullivan and they will all be hunting the win on Sunday.
Bradley Dredge sits two back on six under with Ross Fisher among the trio on five under and then the likes of Lee Westwood, Andrew Johnston and Alex Noren sit inside the top 10 on four under, just four back and stalking the leaders.
It was another winning day for us on Saturday as despite his driving breaking in two on the ninth hole, Thomas Pieters was two shots too good for Ross Fisher to bring our only bet of the day safely in.
Sunday 2 Balls
I have a couple of players in the top 10 on the leaderboard so hopefully they can deliver somethin
g in terms of an outright pay out. The leaderboard is far too bunched up for me to have a nibble on someone else s
o I’ll play what I started with and head to the two balls for my betting on Sunday.
As ever all the groups have been priced up but there is only one bet which interests me. It comes in the third last group onto the golf course.
Tommy Fleetwood vs Bradley Dredge
Match tees off at 12.50 BST
Two men who are very much in contention for this tournament go out in the third last group as Tommy Fleetwood is paired up with Bradley Dredge. Dredge shot three under in tough conditions on Sunday while Fleetwood hacked it round in level par.
Given that Dredge outscored Fleetwood on Saturday you could be forgiven for thinking he is worth backing here but we should remember the course will be set up tough on Sunday with pins in tricky spots so you need to be going into these greens off the fairway.
Fleetwood hasn’t just outdriven Dredge this week, he has beaten the entire field off the tee and with the length required to take aggressive lines I fancy Fleetwood will go on and contend for this tournament while Dredge may have to play safer and wait. If he sees the leaders drifting away he might have to take risks he can’t afford to which should see Fleetwood beat him if not everyone else.
