Another Premier League weekend kicks off on Saturday and it is a huge day in both the title race and the relegation picture as we head into the final month of the campaign where the prizes are handed out and the trap door opens for some.
We have one of the biggest matches of the season so far on the schedule on Saturday, a card that once again sees us having three different kick off times to enjoy what is a fascinating league for many reasons across.
Early Kick Off
There is no doubt we are starting with the best on Saturday as the title chasing Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur who need the points in their quest to finish in the top four of the table. Add into the mix the Champions League tie in midweek and we have a quality affair here. We can’t expect a match like the one we got at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening but it will be interesting to see how different a contest it will be.
3pm Matches
Just the four matches take place at the tradition 3pm slot on Saturday and one of those could have huge implications at the bottom end of the table. That is the one between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton and Hove Albion at Molineux where the visitors are in desperate need of a result while the hosts will be out to lift away the gloom of the last couple of weeks.
The other matches in this slot see Bournemouth taking on an already relegated Fulham side while West Ham United play host to Leicester City in what should be an entertaining enough contest. Huddersfield host FA Cup finalists Watford in the other game in a match which might well be screaming 0-0 out heading into it.
Late Game
The action concludes at St James’ Park where two sides who might mathematically need a point or two to official be safe meet but in reality both are going to be absolutely fine. That sees Newcastle United taking on Southampton in a match where there is no real reason why both teams can’t have a go and look to entertain over the course of the 90 minutes. Hopefully that is the sort of match we are treated to.

Betting
I’ll go with just the one bet on Saturday which comes in the match between West Ham United and Leicester City where I’m expecting the goals to flow. Both these teams are a whole lot better going forward than they are defending and as such the goals should come quite naturally over the course of the afternoon.
It wasn’t too long ago that Huddersfield breached the Hammers’ defence three times on this ground and if they are ripping it open the good lord only knows what Youri Tielemans and his friends will do to it. Leicester aren’t keeping clean sheets either though so everything points to this one yielding more than 2.5 goals.
