2020-21 Premier League – Saturday 7th November Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend continues on Saturday as we head towards the next international break and it does so with four matches which each have an intrigue to them for different reasons as the table starts to take proper shape.

As with the season so far all four matches are live on the various TV platforms although a couple of them will cost money unless you watch them in ways you are not meant to! Thankfully this is the last weekend of that nonsense.

Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)

Everton vs Manchester United (12.30 – BT Sport 1)

Crystal Palace vs Leeds United (15.00 – BT Sport Box Office)

Chelsea vs Sheffield United (17.30 – Sky Main Event and Sky Premier League)

West Ham United vs Fulham (20.00 – BT Sport Box Office)

Preview

It is a rare Saturday when the first match of the day is the best one on paper but that is what we have here, although with the big two meeting each other on Sunday that isn’t completely unexpected. The action starts at Goodison Park where the early pacesetters Everton host a Manchester United side who are desperate for a win. The action then stays in London for the remainder of the day beginning with Crystal Palace hosting Leeds United with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats last weekend.

The third match of the marathon day is one where Chelsea will be looking to make their move closer to the top of the table heading into the break. They play host to a Sheffield United side who left Stamford Bridge with a point last season but who could do with all three here having picked up just one point from their opening seven matches. The final match of the day sees two Luton sides going at it when West Ham United host a Fulham team looking for successive wins to put themselves in a much more comfortable position when the action returns in two weeks.

Betting

I’ll take one bet over the course of the day which comes from the last match of it where I’m expecting to see a few goals when West Ham United host Fulham in what should be a pretty open match. West Ham have gone along pretty well this season and have only lost one of their last five matches, which was last week when they were unlucky to lose to the champions Liverpool. All five of those outings were against sides who finished in the top seven last season so the schedule drops off for them here.

Fulham go into the game buoyed by their first win of the campaign last week and their first clean sheet too. They only beat West Brom so we shouldn’t get carried away with that, particularly the clean sheet. We’ve seen all season that the Cottagers are vulnerable at the back but can mix it at the top end of the pitch. You could say the same for West Ham as well at present so I like the idea of there being more than 2.5 goals here.
