The MLS weekend begins with two matches on Friday night as sides high up in both Conferences are in action. We have to wait until later in the weekend for the televised action in the UK but both these matches will be streamed with the bookmakers as ever.

Toronto FC vs New England Revolution
The opening match of the night is an all-Eastern Conference battle as Toronto FC host New England Revolution in a match which could see the Canadian outfit move four points clear at the top should they win. The Revs will go into fifth should they triumph.
Toronto played in the Canadian Championship in midweek and played a number of their first team for the entire 90 minutes so you would imagine they will be much changed here. Michael Bradley is definitely out on yellow card accumulation so the Revolution may not get a better chance to win than this.
That said I’m always uneasy taking on Toronto especially when they are at home. Sebastian Giovinco can win matches on his own so I’ll sit this one out.
Houston Dynamo vs FC Dallas
The second Texan derby of the campaign is the other match on the card on Friday evening. When these two met in Dallas earlier in the season the two drew 0-0 but back on home turf Houston Dynamo will fancy their chances of getting one over FC Dallas.
Houston have been close to perfect at home this season. Only Minnesota United have left Houston with a point and they had to come from 2-0 down in a match the Dynamo switched off in to get that. Dallas are mixed on the road with just one away win in their last five and that was in Real Salt Lake which isn’t a huge form guide.
Houston are that classic MLS side who play well at home but don’t travel too well. They may only have won one of their last five matches but draws in Dallas and Los Angeles in that time show they are improving and back in familiar surroundings I think they can win here.
