The latest MLS weekend continues on Saturday evening when the rivals continue to meet up and down the country on what should be a decent night of football with so much on the line on top of the bragging rights.

Big Matches
Both the Conference leaders are on the TV in the UK on Saturday evening. The Western Conference leaders are first up when Seattle Sounders play host to Minnesota United. Both teams are in the top five in the West so this should be a good one. That is the case in the Eastern Conference too where the runaway leaders New England Revolution will look to further extend their lead in the division when they play host to New York City FC who are fourth at the start of play. The other televised offering sees the New York Red Bulls hosting DC United in a match the visitors will be keen to win to keep the chasers for their play-off spot at bay.
Best of the Rest
The action actually begins with two of the top four meeting when the Colorado Rapids host the LA Galaxy in what could be a big match in the Western Conference while over in the East, third placed Nashville SC will be looking to take advantage of Orlando City’s defeat on Friday night. They will move into second if they avoid defeat at sixth placed CF Montreal while third placed in the West, Sporting Kansas City host the Chicago Fire looking to end a four game burst without a win. Inter Miami will hope to continue their good form against Columbus Crew.
Betting
I’m a little bit surprised that we can get the sufficient draw cover on the runaway leaders of the Eastern Conference in New England Revolution for their match against New York City FC. The Revolution have been the best team in the Eastern Conference by a country mile and are only a matter of a few wins away from sewing up the number one seed and the bye which comes with it. New York City FC are a good side but their form at Yankee Stadium and away from it is chalk and cheese and that isn’t good for them here.
The Revolution have only dropped five points from 11 matches at Gillette Stadium and are beginning to get their best players back out onto the pitch which is going to make them even more dangerous. NYCFC have picked up just two points from their last six away trips and that includes matches against the Chicago Fire and Toronto FC, two of the bottom four in the East. There seems to be no stopping New England are the minute and with plenty of draw cover I’ll back them to come out on top here.
