Another round of matches in the Major League Soccer season concludes on Sunday night and while the eyes of the football public in America will be on their team’s Gold Cup quarter final, five matches will be played out on an entertaining looking evening of action.
Three of the five matches are live across the two channels who cover this league with the other two, and indeed the three that are on TV, all available on the bookmaker streams who also show this league so there is no need to miss any of the action.
Sunday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)
New England Revolution v CF Montréal (23.00 – Free Sports)
New York City FC v Orlando City SC (23.00 – Sky Football)

Preview
Four of the five matches come the Eastern Conference where five of the top seven are in action. The leaders New England Revolution open the evening when they play host to a much improved CF Montreal outfit. Orlando City can move back up to second in the other of the early kick offs if they can get the better of New York City FC. The Supporters Shield holders Philadelphia Union will also be hoping to strengthen their position when they head to Florida to take on a troubled Inter Miami side.
The two sides immediately outside the play-off places in the Eastern Conference table also meet on the evening when DC United take on the New York Red Bulls in an even looking clash. There is only one match from the Western Conference on Sunday evening. It happens to be a big one though as the top two meet at the Lumen Stadium when the Seattle Sounders go up against Sporting Kansas City in a match surprisingly not picked up by the television companies.
Betting
I took on Inter Miami to good effect in midweek and I’m happy to do the same thing again here. Philadelphia Union might not be as strong on their travels as New England Revolution are but they are perfectly good enough to get the job done against an Inter Miami side who have plenty of problems right now, not least the fact that they have now lost six matches in succession. They have also only picked up one point at home all season. They are a mess.
Philadelphia Union are probably going to aim to peak at the business end of the season but if they harbour hopes of holding onto their Supporters’ Shield then this is simply a match they have to win. Although it isn’t ideal that they are missing key goalkeeper Andre Blake, there is still more than enough in this Philadelphia Union side to get the job done. We saw in midweek that when Miami fall behind their heads completely go. That can happen again here against a side equally as adept as New England in keeping leads.
