With the byes now over for the NFL season the bulk of the remaining matches take place on Sunday and there are some juicy battles among them. Each team in action has just five games of the regular season left so each one is huge.
As ever on a Sunday we have divisional matches mixed in with some high profile ones and those which don’t quite set the pulses racing but which might carry their own sense of importance along the way.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
There are three matches featuring teams from the same division on Sunday with the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Indianapolis Colts. In the AFC East the Miami Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills and over in the NFC South the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face up to the Carolina Panthers in big matches.
The TV match in this set of matches is the one that sees the Houston Texans taking on the Cleveland Browns while elsewhere New York Giants play the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers host the Arizona Cardinals and the Detroit Lions are the latest team to try and stop the Los Angeles Rams. Cincinnati Bengals host the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons take on the Baltimore Ravens in the other matches.
4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
There are four matches in the later slot and there are two divisional matches among them. In the AFC West the Oakland Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs who will be without Kareem Hunt for the first time while over in the NFC West the Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers. The TV match in this slot sees the New England Patriots taking on the Minnesota Vikings and the other game is between the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

Betting
There are a few trappy matches in among this set of games and I’m not going to be reeled in as there are a couple of bets I like over the remainder of the weekend but there is one which stands out to me among these games so I’ll go with one bet on a fairly quiet day of betting for me.
The bet comes in the form of the Baltimore Ravens whose defence can bottle up this Atlanta Falcons offense and then produce enough at the other end of the pitch to get the job done themselves. Baltimore are without some seasoned campaigners but the future men have shown their qualities and I fancy they can do that again to come out on top in this one.
