NFL 2019 – Week 7 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

As always the majority of the matches in an NFL week takes place on Sunday and we have some really competitive games to look forward to this week as Week 7 of the campaign is played up and down America.

We have the usual two kick off times for the matches and two of them are live on TV for those of us who are in the UK and then there are all the usual ways of watching and keeping up to date with all the other ones.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

The televised offering in the early run of matches comes from Lambeau Field where all eyes will be on the Green Bay Packers to see if they can follow up Monday’s win over the Detroit Lions when they take on the London winners Oakland Raiders. We have three divisional battles in these games too as the Detroit Lions host Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills take on the Miami Dolphins and over in the AFC South the Indianapolis Colts will be going up against the Houston Texans.

Four other matches are on the card for the first set of kick offs with the Arizona Cardinals rolling into MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants while the Washington Redskins have the San Francisco 49ers. Cincinnati Bengals meet the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Los Angeles Rams will look to get back another a .500 ledger when they travel to Mercedes-Benz stadium to take on the Atlanta Falcons.

4.05pm/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

There are only three matches in this later set of games and the TV offering should be a fantastic watch as the Seattle Seahawks take on the Baltimore Ravens with two of the best quarterbacks in the league going at it in Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson with both sides having winning records they will be looking to enhance.

The other two matches see the Tennessee Titans hosting the Los Angeles Chargers in a battle of a pair of 2-4 teams while the other one could easily be the NFC Championship clash later in the season when the Chicago Bears welcome the New Orleans Saints to Soldier Field to battle it out in arguably the match of the day.

Betting

I’ll take two bets over these matches with the first of them on the San Francisco 49ers to cover a 9.5 point handicap against the Washington Redskins. The Skins are in all sorts of mess at the minute as evidenced by the fact that Jay Gruden has gone from the head coach role but the big issue is that they are without big players. Trent Williams is holding out for a better deal while the likes of Jamison Crowder was traded away. San Francisco are arguably the team to beat in the NFC these days and look brilliant on defence and they can run the ball and ground their opposition down. I fancy the 49ers to carry with a bit in hand.

In the big match at Soldier Field I’m expecting a low scoring contest between two sides whose defences have nothing to prove to anyone. New Orleans Saints have an offense which has been known to struggle outdoors and with Alvin Kamara out it wouldn’t be a surprise if that happens again here while the Chicago Bears offense isn’t producing what it should be full stop. This is a heavyweight clash and generally in those no quarter is given up. I don’t think the total will get to 37.5pts.
