It is another huge few days in the Premier League and they get underway on Thursday evening when two London rivals meet at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea welcome Tottenham Hotspur for what should be an entertaining clash.
The reverse fixture between these two was one of the real bonkers matches of the season so far where Chelsea ran out 4-1 winners. Tottenham will be looking to turn the tables as they look to close in on a Champions League spot while Chelsea will hope to keep their European hopes alive.
Where to watch
The match will be shown live and in full on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels with the build-up beginning at 7pm ahead of the 7.30pm kick off.
Chelsea
If you have been able to work this Chelsea side out this season you have done very well. There has been no consistency about them at all this term and that in itself makes it pretty incredible that with a win here they would move within a win of a spot in Europe next term and still have a game in hand. That gives them even more incentive and motivation to win besides what they should have given that they face a rival club here.
One area where Chelsea have been consistent in recent times has been that nearly all of their matches have been high scoring. Their last 11 matches in all competitions have contained no less than 51 goals and there was a 1-0 cup semi-final in that run. Take that out and it is 50 in 10 games so an average of five goals per game. While they look to have cracked it at the top end of the pitch, if anything they are getting worse defensively.
Tottenham Hotspur
This has been a better season for Tottenham Hotspur and one where they still have every chance of reaching the top four at the end of the season. That in itself would be a real achievement when you consider that the campaign started with them selling their captain and main goal threat. They haven’t quite been able to find the consistency they have needed to get themselves into the top four for long enough but even with games running out they are still in contention.
Spurs go into this match having lost their last two matches and three of their last six so they will be keen to find a win which would move them to within four points of Aston Villa who they would still have a game in hand of. If they are going to get Champions League football this season then they are going to need to come out on top here. The issue with that is they have only been able to win one of their last seven on the road.

Team News
Chelsea have a bit of a defensive injury crisis on their hands for this match with Thiago Silva the latest to be ruled out. Malo Gusto is another who is out so there could be square pegs in round holes for the Blues here. Axel Disasi will be assessed but the match comes too soon for Christopher Nkunku.
Tottenham Hotspur will be without former Chelsea forward Timo Werner who has been ruled out of the rest of the season along with Destiny Udogie. Ben Davies is another who will miss out so Ange Postecoglou will need to find someone else to deputise at left-back.
Betting
When I look at this match I only see a high scoring match. That is the trend for both sides going into the game and it certainly was the trend when these two sides met across London earlier in the season when Chelsea won that crazy game 4-1. I couldn’t possibly trust either defence at the minute, especially the Chelsea one which is without the experienced Thiago Silva, while Spurs look a mess every time a set play comes into their box.
The question we have here is how to get value from a high scoring match because the Asian line being 3.75 goals is a little on the high side with us needing five goals for a full payout. The way I have come up with it at slightly more risk is to put both teams to score over 1.5 goals into a bet builder. Chelsea have scored two or more in nine of their last 11 matches in all competitions while Tottenham have done it in five of their last eight. With both defences fragile to the extreme I think the 7/4 that both sides notch twice or more looks good value.
