The Premier League weekend concludes with another Monday Night Football which this week takes us to the Vitality Stadium for a clash between two sides chasing European football when AFC Bournemouth host Fulham.
Bournemouth have fallen off the pace a touch in recent times but a win here could rejuvenate them ahead of the final six matches while Fulham can put themselves very much in the mix potentially even for Champions League football with a win.
Where to watch
The match will be shown live and in full on the Monday Night Football programme on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels. The show begins at 6.30pm ahead of the 8pm kick off.
AFC Bournemouth
A couple of months ago, AFC Bournemouth were well on course not just to make Europe next season but also to reach the Champions League but their form has largely fallen off a cliff in that time and they have gone out of the FA Cup too and if the Cherries don’t get back to winning ways here then this could be a promising campaign which would be in real danger of tailing off and ultimately not delivering too much more in terms of end results than the last one.
That would be a shame because our eyes would tell us that there has been a real improvement in the Bournemouth play this season. Injuries will probably ultimately be their undoing in terms of reaching the European spots but as a neutral they are good to watch and it could be nice to see them finish the campaign well. No wins in six in the Premier League though make you wonder just how much they can be trusted in this contest.
Fulham
AFC Bournemouth are getting a lot of plaudits this season whereas Fulham are largely going under the radar in comparison but the Cottagers begin the night three points above the Cherries and in a more progressive current form base. Fulham also went out of the FA Cup at the quarter final stage recently so they now know that if they are going to play European football next term then they need as many points from their final seven matches as they can manage.
You do wonder if Fulham just lack the consistency to kick on and really challenge for those European spots but a win here would certainly build the anticipation within their support base. The problem is that this is a Cottagers side who have lost their last two away matches so they need to get back on track away from Craven Cottage. Fulham are the lowest scorers in the top half of the table at present so finding a way to score more regularly would certainly help them.

Team News
Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola is sweating on the fitness of Luis Sinisterra, Marcus Tavernier and Justin Kluivert ahead of this match. One man he will definitely be without is Ryan Christie who has undergone surgery on an injury.
Fulham boss Marco Silva has a couple of players ruled out of this match too with Reiss Nelson and Harry Wilson both missing the match. Raul Jimenez will be looking for a starting spot as will Adama Traore.
Betting
I think we are on course for goals in this match. That has been the recipe when these two sides have met in the Premier League to date. All five meetings in this division have had over 2.5 goals in them so I wouldn’t put anyone off taking that line on the nose here but I’d like a little more juice in the price so I’m going to add both teams to score into the mix as well. Bournemouth haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last eight matches and it is one clean sheet in the last nine in the Premier League for Fulham, and that was against a Tottenham side who had just come off the back of a Europa League tie.
This bet would have cashed in the last five Bournemouth matches in the Premier League and the FA Cup tie against Manchester City in that run while is has copped in four of the last five and six of the last for Fulham in this competition too. It has also landed in four of those five Premier League meetings between the two including the 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture and with Evanilson and Rodrigo Muniz in good form leading the respective attacks I expect it to land again here.
