Premier League 2024-25 – Saturday 30th November Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend continues on Saturday afternoon when half of the division are on show on a day where we might see some significant moves at both ends of the table as the 10 sides jostle for position in the standings.

There is no early game on Saturday so we are down to just one TV match to enjoy in the UK. That comes after the other matches which take place in the traditional slot where the updates will be in all the usual places as ever.

3pm Matches

Four of the five matches take place in the traditional 3pm slot on Saturday where the highest placed team on show is Nottingham Forest. They begin the day in seventh place in the table and will be looking to boost that position when they host Ipswich Town. Another of the promoted sides on show on Saturday afternoon are Leicester City. They play the last game before Ruud van Nistelrooy takes charge when they head to the capital to go up against Brentford.

Newcastle United will be looking to make up for that surprise defeat by West Ham United on Monday night when they make the trip to London to take on a Crystal Palace side who will be looking to come out of the bottom three with victory in a key home game. Wolverhampton Wanderers have won their last two games to come out of the relegation zone and they will look to move further up the table when an inconsistent Bournemouth side are the visitors to Molineux.

Late Game

We probably do save the best for last on Saturday evening where Arsenal will look to move into the top two in the table when they make the trip from North London to the east of the capital for a clash with a West Ham United who should be buoyed by their victory over Newcastle on Monday night. Arsenal had an emphatic win in the Champions League in midweek and look like they are clicking back into a good groove now that Martin Odegaard is back. West Ham have been better at home than they have away so that win over Newcastle on Monday gives them a platform to build on here.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that a truncated card has going for it but it would make sense to expect goals at Molineux where Wolverhampton Wanderers host AFC Bournemouth. Wolves matches tend to be full of goals at the best of times but when you consider that this is a match that they will think they can win there is likely to be the potential for even more goals. Bournemouth matches might not contain as many goals as Wolves ones do but coming off the back of a couple of defeats they might well be all out to make sure they win this.

The question then comes in how best to play the high scoring angle and the 5/6 on both teams scoring and there being over 2.5 goals feels like the right play here. That has already landed in nine of the 12 Wolves matches this season and five Bournemouth matches including the last three. Bournemouth have played four games against teams in the bottom half of the table and three of those would have covered this bet. It looks good to me as neither can be trusted to keep a clean sheet and if neither do here we only need a winner on top.
