Two of the six matches will be live on the TV for us to enjoy across the course of the afternoon and with the other games clashing with the TV coverage we should be given regular updates of those as we go along.

The TV cameras will make their way up to the King Power Stadium to open up the Super Sunday show when Leicester City look to come out of the bottom three when they host a Manchester City side for whom turning their form around will be the overriding aim at the minute. Later in the afternoon the attention will turn to the London Stadium where Liverpool look to open up a possible nine point lead at the top of the table when they make the trip to the capital to take on a West Ham United side who might finally have found their mojo.
The other four matches take place away from the UK TV cameras and the highest placed team on show are Nottingham Forest. They will go in search of another three points when they make the trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton. Bournemouth are next on show and they go to Craven Cottage to face off against a Fulham team looking to build on their win over Chelsea on Boxing Day. The other two matches see Wolverhampton Wanderers going in search of a third win in succession when they make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur while Crystal Palace welcome Southampton to Selhurst Park.
Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets over the course of Sunday. The first of those is for Manchester City to score more than 2.5 goals in their game against Leicester City. Much has been made of the problems that Manchester City have at present but they would be worse than I anticipated if they can’t feast on this Leicester defence. They have shipped 10 goals in their last three matches and prior to that drew 2-2 with Brighton. In Ruud van Nistelrooy’s opening game, Leicester beat West Ham 3-1 but conceded a ridiculous 31 shots in the match so the Dutchman has got big problems with this defence. If Leicester cough up those numbers here City should have a field day. The likes of Wolves and Nottingham Forest have been to the King Power and scored three goals this season and for all their troubles City offer much more than that. If they are ever going to come good this looks to be the ideal opponent to do it against.
The other bet I like is for over 3.5 goals in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers. If I am honest, it is the high end of a line I am comfortable taking but when you consider that matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League alone this season are averaging 4.44 goals per game then perhaps it isn’t such a high line at all. Wolves have kept successive clean sheets under Vitor Pereira but neither Leicester City nor Manchester United are free scoring so we might find out if the new boss has worked wonders with this defence or not here. Tottenham are sure to test this defence on home soil but you have to think Wolves have plenty about them going the other way to test a Tottenham defence which is going to be without the pace of Djed Spence after his red card on Boxing Day. Five of the last seven Wolves away games have had four or more goals in them while six of the nine Tottenham ones have so over 3.5 goals looks perfectly possible here.
