There are two matches in the Premier League on Sunday to form part of the usual Super Sunday double header and the top of the table is very much in the spotlight as three of the top five are in action on the day.
We have the heavyweight clash of the weekend in the second match of the day but before then Liverpool will be looking to enhance their top four credentials.
West Brom vs Liverpool
In terms of what there is to play for this looks a favourable fixture for Liverpool as West Brom are safe and not really going anywhere so they could be easy fodder but that isn’t really the style of a Tony Pulis side.
We saw West Brom go to Old Trafford recently and ground out a draw while at The Hawthorns they were far too good for Arsenal and their aerial threat could be a real issue in this match. I certainly wouldn’t be backing Liverpool to win this one with all their injuries but having been burnt taking them on last week I’m reluctant to fall into that trap again so I’m sitting the opener out.

Man Utd vs Chelsea
The starter might not be bad but the main course certainly looks tasty as the leaders Chelsea head to Old Trafford looking to restore their seven point lead at the top of the table. Man Utd aren’t going to roll over though as they still have hopes of a top four finish and need to start winning matches in order to turn that into a reality.
Jose Mourinho goes up against his former club in this match and he won’t want a repeat of the scenes at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture where Chelsea led inside a minute and won 4-0. I don’t think this will be that extreme but I do believe the result will be the same here.
Man Utd have had a really hard schedule of matches in recent times and that will catch up with them. It may or may not be here but we saw how Chelsea destroyed Man City with their counter attacking football and if United attack them they might get the same treatment. Even if they invite Chelsea onto them they will be playing a dangerous game so I fancy the leaders to show why they will be champions by nicking a win here.
