There are two more matches in the Super League on Friday night as the season begins to gear up towards the Magic Weekend next month. As ever there is one match in front of the Sky cameras and another one which isn’t on television. We’ll begin with the live game.

Hull FC vs Warrington Wolves
Top spot is up for grabs for Hull FC in this match while Warrington Wolves can come out of the bottom four so this is an important game for both sides with a huge incentive for each of them to win which should ensure a competitive contest.
Hull FC head into the match off the back of two wins in a row but having spent an hour playing with ten men last week it remains to be seen how they are physically. They are without a couple of key players in Liam Watts and especially Danny Houghton which isn’t ideal.
Warrington had a shocking start to the season but a draw against Hull FC when they came from the dead has been followed by four wins on the trot and all of a sudden the Wolves are looking up. A win here would move them to within four points of the top four which is a decent incentive. Players are beginning to come back too and they have Matty Russell and Mike Cooper back for this one.
Hull FC have struggled at home this season and with Warrington gaining confidence and winning close matches which is pivotal I think they are the value in this one especially given the Houghton absence.
St Helens vs Leigh Centurions
Two sides who aren’t in the best of form meet at Langtree Park. St Helens have lost two of their last three including a horrible loss at Widnes last week while Leigh have now lost six on the bounce and are finding life in the Super League quite hard.
St Helens are being asked to give up a dozen points in this match which on the face of it looks a little high but Leigh aren’t in any form which is a massive factor so I wouldn’t fancy Leigh staying that close with any certainty. That said though St Helens are struggling themselves so this is a match to leave alone.
