This weekend’s Super Sunday in the Premier League consists of two matches with four sides in the wrong end of the table in action looking to pick up points which could either ease them away from danger or push them up to where they feel they might need to be.
It is fair to say it is more of a day which will impact the bottom of the table rather than the top but that doesn’t make it any less intriguing than what went on over the course of Saturday.

Brighton vs Southampton
It all gets underway in Sussex when Brighton host Southampton at the Amex Stadium. Both sides have made decent enough starts to their campaigns and sit 12th and 10th respectively in the table and both will move up if they can win the game.
Brighton have hit some decent form at home with two wins and a draw in which they led until injury time in their last three while Southampton had a good win over West Brom last weekend which they will look to build on.
Whichever way I look at this match I don’t see many goals in it. Both sides are pretty tight at the back and neither look natural when they go forwards. Often they take advantage of set pieces but neither of these sides have a weakness in that area so in what I see as being a tight match under 2.25 goals an obvious play.
Leicester vs Everton
The second match of the afternoon is a battle between two sides who disposed of their manager in recent times. Leicester have replaced their departed man with Claude Puel who will be in the dugout for the first time here while Everton will have caretaker manager David Unsworth in charge.
That makes this match a tough one both to predict and to bet on. We don’t truly know how Leicester are going to get up or what sort of style they will play and we don’t really know whether Unsworth is going to get any kind of tune out of this Everton team or not. Guessing these things when only one side is involved in the new things is one thing but I can’t be guessing it for both so I’ll sit this out.
