The last 32 of the German Darts Masters will be played out across two heavy sessions of darts in Jena on Sunday as all those left in the tournament look to get themselves through to Monday where the prizes and the big money is handed out.
The seeds come into the tournament in this round so the quality is about to get cranked up which should make for an extremely exciting day of darts on the European Tour.
Afternoon Session
Ian White and Jeffrey de Graaf get the action underway before the former world champion Stephen Bunting takes to the stage. He faces the rising star Ted Evetts and they are followed by Steve West and Kyle Anderson. Michael Smith plays Dragutin Horvat and then the second half of the session commences with Kim Huybrechts meeting Daniel Larsson. Simon Whitlock faces Jonny Clayton and then the last two matches are between Gerwyn Price and Max Hopp and them Benito van de Pas and Rowby-John Rodriguez.
Evening Session
Arguably the match of the day on paper gets us going in the evening session when James Wade plays Robert Thornton. That match is followed by Joe Cullen against Steffan Siepmann and Mensur Suljovic versus Jamie Lewis. Another three great matches come next when Jelle Klaasen faces the form horse Daryl Gurney before Peter Wright and Mark Webster do battle. Alan Norris then takes on Raymond Barneveld. The evening concludes with Michael van Gerwen vs John Michael and Cristo Reyes against Mervyn King.

Betting
I like two through the course of the day on Sunday and there is one in each session. In the afternoon I think Ted Evetts is overpriced against Stephen Bunting. Bunting has more than an edge on his opponent in the experience standings but on form Evetts is probably in front of Bunting and possibly by some way. Evetts played here on Saturday and looked very impressive in winning and he is worth taking a chance on here.
The other bet comes in the final match of the night where Mervyn King can see off Cristo Reyes. These two have met three times in the past including as recently as last week and King has won all three matches. King wasn’t at his best on Saturday but he won and I expect him to take advantage of the inevitable missed doubles that come from the Spaniard. He looks a good bet to round off the day.
