Premier League – Saturday 10th December Matches Betting Preview

It is a busy week in the Premier League with three rounds of matches in the next 10 days and that all kicks off on Saturday where there are six matches taking place across the usual three kick off times.

The leaders Chelsea aren’t in action until Sunday so there is the chance for the likes of Man City and Arsenal to close the gap on them on what is set up to be another dramatic day in the top flight.

Early Kick Off

The Saturday action kicks off at Vicarage Road as Watford host Everton in a battle of two sides who will move into the top seven of the table ahead of the rest of the matches this weekend with a win.

3pm Matches

Burnley host Bournemouth in a match both will feel they can win at Turf Moor while Arsenal will go top of the table for 24hrs if they can find a three goal win against Stoke at the Emirates. Hull play Crystal Palace in what is a big match for both sides while Swansea host Sunderland in a match you would think they have to win at the Liberty Stadium.

Late Game

A busy day finishes at the King Power Stadium as the champions Leicester host title chasing Man City in a big match for both sides. Leicester need the points to pull away from a potential relegation battle while Man City need to win to make up for last week’s defeat to Chelsea.

Betting

On the bare face of it this isn’t the easiest set of fixtures to bet on but there is one I like and it comes in the form of a side I’ve written plenty about in these columns in the past.

That is Burnley who play host to Bournemouth. In my eyes the odds compilers have got this one all wrong. Admittedly Bournemouth did terrifically well to come from behind and beat Liverpool last week but their away form is much different to their home form.

You can say exactly the same thing about Burnley too. Since the opening day of the season the only sides to have won at Turf Moor are Arsenal and Man City and Burnley were strongly involved in both of those matches. Burnley’s record at home aside from those matches reads 4-1-1 with 10 goals for and five against.

Bournemouth struggle for goals on the road and their only win has come at a Stoke side who were ordinary on the day. Burnley much prefer playing at home and I think they can get a result from this one.
