The top two in the Caribbean Premier League meet in the only match in the CPL on Monday night when the Trinbago Knight Riders host the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in a match which could well be the final of the tournament next month.
Trinbago go into this match with just one defeat from their four matches while the Patriots have a 100% record in the tournament to date so something is going to have to give here.
Trinbago Knight Riders
There is nothing to not like about the Trinbago Knight Riders. If you wanted to be extremely critical then you could argue that they haven’t put it all together with the bat and have relied on individual innings to get them over the line but as I said that really is nit picking because they have managed to win each game.
One thing that is reliable is the bowling attack of the Knight Riders. They have some of the best bowlers in the game in their ranks and have been hard to get away throughout the tournament. This is the final home game for the Trinbago side so they will be looking to go out in style from their home leg of the event.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
While Trinbago are getting all of the hype it is important to remember that the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are undefeated in this competition and are playing some good cricket themselves. Their advantage comes in the form of the fact that they have not played on home soil yet which makes their position look even stronger.
Unlike their opponents here the Patriots are putting up solid batting efforts throughout their ranks and while the Knight Riders’ attack gets plenty of headlines this Patriots one can stand up to most so they will feel that they have every chance in this match especially if Gayle treats them to something special.
Team News
It remains to be seen if the Trinbago Knight Riders will make changes to their side for this match although the general consensus is that it is unlikely barring a late injury or an illness.
There is absolutely no reason for the St Kitts and Nevis side to make changes to their line up again unless someone unforeseen happens late on.

Betting
It is never easy to go against the Trinbago Knight Riders but I do like the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at odds against. The Patriots are unbeaten and well rested and they look the value in this one.
I say that because I don’t believe there is too much between the two sides. If anything there are more batsmen in form for the Patriots and it might be that the difference is exactly that. Small margins will decide this one so at odds against I’m on the visitors.
