The fourth set of group matches in the CSA T20 Challenge begins on Monday when four sides head past the first quarter of the campaign and with the table beginning to have a condensed look to it the two games on show carry plenty of significance.
We begin the day with two sides who are on two wins from their opening three matches battling it out and then the second match sees sides with one win in six outings between them going at it. Both matches are once again on Free Sports in the UK.
Titans vs Dolphins (08.00)
The opening match of the day is likely to be the pick of the two matches as the Titans, warm favourites for the tournament before a ball was bowled, take on a Dolphins side who have looked full of confidence so far this week.
These two sides are full of big names and that makes their meeting a mouth-watering proposition. The Titans began their campaign with a surprise defeat but they have won their last two and look to be warming to the task nicely. The Dolphins come into this one off the back of a wonderfully high scoring win over the Warriors last time out so these two teams look to be coming to the boil for what is an important clash with the winner potentially moving to the top of the table. I think this is one to watch and observe rather than bet on and that is the way I’m going to play this opening match.

Knights vs Warriors (12.30)
The second match of the day is a very big one as the bottom two in the table meet when the Knights, still looking for their first win of the season, take on the Warriors who only have the one win to their name from their first three matches.
It is too early in the season to suggest that the loser of this is out of the competition but they could both do with winning this just to attach themselves to the leading half of the field. Matches in this tournament come thick and fast so while winning streaks can come along readily when a team gets on a roll, getting out of a losing slump can be much more difficult with no time to really digest what is happening and where things are going wrong. These two have had their troubles. The Knights have been terrible with the bat and the Warriors have been bang ordinary with the ball so it will be interesting to see whose weakness is exposed in a pressure situation here. I fancy it will be the Warriors’ weakness because they have conceded scores of 155/8, 164/3 in just over 17 overs and 211/5 so that is a clear problem. The Knights’ batting is just as bad but there were signs against the Titans last time out that they were just starting to figure it out but came up short against some good death bowling. The Warriors don’t have that luxury available to them so I see no reason why the Knights can’t go well with the bat here. Assuming that is the case we should see the 288.5 runs line covered.
