The MLS weekend began with a couple of tasty matches which were loaded with excitement and entertainment on Friday night and it concludes with a card stacked with anticipation on Saturday evening with the remainder of the league in action.
We have a few TV matches to enjoy over the course of the night and with us being firmly in the second half of the campaign every win and point is getting all the more important from here on in.

Big Matches
Five matches take place on four different TV channels in the UK with the one between Chicago Fire and DC United being on Sky Sports where DC need to keep winning to keep their lofty position in the Eastern Conference while the Fire need a consistent run to make the top seven. Premier Sports carries a couple of Western Conference matches as Houston Dynamo host Seattle Sounders and the San Jose Earthquakes take on the Colorado Rapids. Premier Sports 2 heads to the Big Apple for the New York Red Bulls against Columbus Crew and then the live action ends on Free Sports where the Portland Timbers host LA Galaxy in a right titanic tussle in the West.
Best of the Rest
Elsewhere, the New England Revolution will look to continue their good form and enhance their top seven credentials when they host Orlando City who really need to win to keep the Revs in their sight. There is a chance for Toronto FC to pick up three much needed points when they host FC Cincinnati while the last two sides in the top seven in the West meet as FC Dallas host Real Salt Lake. The other match also comes from the Western Conference and it sees Minnesota United hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Betting
There are a couple of sides who I think could be good accumulator material over the course of the night, such as New England and San Jose but they both have handicaps which are probably one line if not slightly more too big from where I would feel comfortable investing a single sized stake on them. With that in mind I’ll go with just the one bet from what should be a decent night of action.
Toronto FC know they have to beat FC Cincinnati if they are going to make it anywhere near the play-offs and as such I would expect their strongest side and a really focused effort, but the thing about Toronto is they never look like keeping a clean sheet at the minute. They have only kept one of them in their last 10 and they look vulnerable to any kind of pace to me. Cincinnati have been useless defensively all season so I’m expecting something of a goal-fest at BMO Field on Saturday, to the tune of more than 3.25 goals being scored here.
