The Premier League weekend continues with two more matches on Sunday as four sides return from the international break in the traditional ‘Super Sunday’ double header. The only difference with this one is that if you live in the UK you can’t watch the first game on your TV!
All four sides in action on Sunday will be looking for three valuable points to kick start a run of form so we should be in for a competitive day if not the highest quality ever seen.

Brighton vs Everton
Two sides teetering above the relegation zone after a win for Swansea and a point for West Ham on Saturday meet at the Amex Stadium when Brighton host Everton in what is actually a big game for both sides. In fairness the winners can go up to tenth for a few hours which would make their slow starts look much different.
When I look at this match I find it hard to see where goals are going to come from. Everton have only bagged four goals all season while Brighton only five. Brighton don’t concede many goals and if you take out the four Everton shipped at Man Utd they don’t either. This is a match both will fancy their chances in but I don’t see it being open as a result. I think this will be a tight affair and if there is a winner it will be in a low key encounter.
Southampton vs Newcastle
The second match of the afternoon looks a better one on paper even if it does include two sides who haven’t really set the division alight just yet. Both sides are safely in mid-table but need to be careful that they don’t have a bad three weeks as the drop zone could soon suck them in.
This is another match where I am struggling to find goals in. Southampton only have five of them all season and have drawn a blank in eight of their last nine home games while Newcastle have seven for the season but three of them came against a wide open West Ham side. That said I do think Newcastle are playing the better football and won’t have the crowd pressure intimidating them like Southampton might.
This is another game I expect to be low scoring and I’m going to play both under 2.5s in a double which pays just under 2/1 but I can’t resist a little dabble on Newcastle to win the game at 4/1 which just feels too big.
